Good software shouldn't need a perfect connection or a foreign price list.
Most shops in Ghana run on a notebook, a calculator and a good memory, or on software built for somewhere else. That software assumes steady internet, prices in dollars and tax rules that aren't ours. When the connection drops, the till stops. When a customer buys on credit, it goes in the notebook anyway.
We started Quillstone Systems in 2026 to close that gap. Everything we make starts from how business is done here. Our first apps run on your own computer and keep selling when the internet doesn't. They price in cedis, work out VAT, NHIL and GETFund the way the GRA expects, take Mobile Money alongside cash and card, and send receipts by WhatsApp. They also handle what everyday trade here really involves: customers who pay later, goods sold by the kilo, and staff who need to be trained before they touch the real till.

That background shows in the details
In QS Prime POS, credit sales come with credit limits, customer statements and a receivables ageing report. Taxes are shown line by line on every receipt and in a tax report you can hand to your accountant. The end of day is a real count of the drawer, with any shortfall shown, and an export for QuickBooks or Xero.
Mistakes are hard to make and easy to trace
A sale can be voided only the same day, by an admin, with a reason. Discounts over a limit need an admin's PIN, and every approval is written to an audit log.
